Abstract
The article discusses a study which explored the measurement of political participation and testing of social desirability bias in a web-survey experiment. Topics discussed include voter turnout surveys, survey techniques and survey response bias. It was concluded that surveys that depend on yes or no response options most likely overestimate the level of political participation.
